SEPTEMBER

September 26 through 29, 2008
Grease
Time: Friday & Saturday 7pm, Sunday 2pm
Tickets: $15.00, $18.00
Reservations: 401-762-4545
This classic 1950's rock 'n' roll musical features Rydell High's spirited class of '59: gum chewing, hubcap stealing, hot rod loving boys with D.A.'s and their wise cracking girls in bobby sox and pedal pushers. They capture the look and sound of the 1950s in a rollicking musical. While hip Danny Zuko and wholesome Sandy Dumbrowski resolve the problems of their mutual attraction, the gang sings and dances its way through such nostalgic scenes as the pajama party, the prom, the burger palace, and the drive in movie. Songs recall the Buddy Holly hiccups, the Little Richard yodels and the Elvis Presley wiggles that made the music of the 50s a gas!

Menopause the Musical
Time: Friday & Saturday at 7pm, Sunday at 2pm
Tickets: $38.00 & $42.00
Reservations: 401-762-4545
Since March 2001, the hilarious show Menopause The Musical has entertained and inspired women from coast-to-coast and internationally. The work of writer Jeanie Linders, Menopause The Musical is a 90-minute production which includes 25 re-lyricized tunes from the '60s and '70s and culminates with a salute to women who are experiencing The Change.

Set in a department store, where four women with seemingly nothing in common but a black lace bra meet by chance, the musical pokes fun at things such as hot flashes, memory loss, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and eating binges. The show's intended message is that menopause is a passage, but it should no longer be The Silent Passage. It is a stage in every woman’s life that is perfectly normal.

Time: 8pm
Tickets: $20.00 & $25.00
Reservations: 401-762-4545
Join all the political satire and laughs with Charlie Hall's camPAIN 2008!
Charlie Hall is back with his 'posse of punsters' in this wild and wacky look at the elections which are only a few weeks from the show date! And we promise NOT to present the same-ol-comedy show. There will be stand-up, skits, magic, song parodies, and tons of real and fake celebrities racing on, off and around the stage. The Follies will be presenting new songs, while comic Frank O'Donnell, impressionists John Roarke and Ron Hayden, along with WPRO'S John DePetro and NBC-10's Geve Valicenti take their own personal pokes at the local and national election scene. In a fresh twist, Charlie will be using the whole theater to present the 'funny' in this creative staging of a comedy show. It'll be like a local LAUGH-IN: and we WILL sock it to you! More laughs-for-the buck than anything Woon-Saw-Kette has ever seen. The candidates chant, "All we need is CHANGE!" ...luckily only about $15 or $20 worth of coinage will do it for this highly anticipated, fun-filled, and innovative night of political satire. New acts, pols, and ideas being added all the time. Join the party- Republican, Democrat, even Cool Moose!
